Prof Vincent Ho is IOSH’s 52nd President. With its headquarters in the United Kingdom, IOSH is the world’s largest health and safety professional membership organisation with over 47,000 members worldwide. Being a charity organisation acting as a champion, supporter, adviser, advocate, and trainer for safety and health professionals working in organisations of all sizes, IOSH has a clear vision: a safe, healthy and sustainable world of work. Prof. Ho actively promotes the applications of risk management in enhancing safety; he is the Founding Chairman of the Hong Kong Association of Risk Management and Safety, and had served as the President of International Association of Probabilistic Safety Assessment and Management, and the President of Southern California Society for Risk Analysis. Prof Vincent Ho is a career risk management and safety professional with 35 years of experience in transportation, nuclear, and defence industries. Prof. Ho received his BS (Hons), MS, PhD, and MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles. He is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Hong Kong, and also teaches at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in MSc and BSc programmes on risk management-related subjects. He has served on various HK Government boards and committees, including the Independent Police Complaints Council, Daya Bay Contingency Plan Review Panel, and various appeal and disciplinary boards of safety-related ordinances. He volunteered as a Reserve Police Officer at Pasadena, Los Angeles, working patrol and undercover operations, and received distinguished awards from Pasadena and the County of Los Angeles.

In his professional capacity, he was a Senior Executive in a number of Organizations, spread across a wide base of industries. He has worked in the automotive industry, in both supply organizations and manufacturing, which included over 20 years with General Motors in the UK.In addition, he has held seniors positions in the retail, wholesale and industrial sectors. Bernie has undertaken formal studies in Business Management, Finance & Sales & Marketing. He has undertaken training in both Japan & America in topics such as Lean Manufacturing, the Toyota Production System, and Kaizan etc.He has been a Director of the NSCA for over 25 years and is the current Chairman, a position he has held for nearly 15 years. He is an honorary life member of the NSCA and was recognized by the South Australian government in 2005 with an award for Outstanding Achievements in the area of Health and Safety. Since retiring in early 2014 in addition to his commitment to the NSCA, Bernie also consults to a number of small to medium organizations through his company Improvement Inc. as well as serving as a Director on a number of Boards. In addition, he is a committee member of SAI (Standards Australia Institute) and is a member of a Leadership Committee that is a tri – party arrangement between a cross section of Australian industry, Safe Work Australia and the NSCA Foundation. Bernie was recently appointed as the Secretary General of APOSHO, Asian Pacific Occupational Safety Health Organization.

Dato’ (Dr.) Kanagaraja Raman is MOSHPA’s (Malaysian Occupational Safety and Health Practitioner’s Association) President. Being a president of 2nd biggest association in Malaysia, Dato is also a working as President of Indian Joint Council Malaysia and Secretary General of GOPIO (Global Organization for People of Indian Origin). MOSHPA is the 2nd largest health and safety professional membership organisation in Malaysia. Being a professional working in organisations of all sizes, MOSHPA has a clear vision and very much committed to create a global platform for all the safety practitioners’ in Malaysia and around the world. Dato Kana was the Safety Head/In-charge for Construction of Petronas Towers and been a major part of many constructions (Including Prime Minister Office) in Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Cyberjaya. And Dato actively promotes the applications of safety and construction management at work place and he has been conducting Free Safety Training’s and Conferences for different industries since 21 years. He is the Founding Chairman of the MOSHPA GLOBAL OSHE ACADEMY which is the associate partner for “APEX GLOBAL OSH CONFERENCE 2019 . Dato’ (Dr.) Kanagaraja Raman has a career in construction management and safety professional with 40 years of experience in construction and transportation industries. Dato Kana received his BS (Hons) in Safety Engineering from Cleveland University of technology from Cleveland and, MBA (Safety Management) from California, Los Angeles. He is President of Indian Council of Commerce and Industry in Malaysia, and also President of Devi Sri Lalithaambigai Aalayam, Putrajaya, Malaysia. He has served on various Malaysian Government boards and committees, as a member and advisor, including Department of Occupational Safety and Health, Malaysia.

Conducted over 400+ hours of trainings on Electrical, fire and chemical safety, Safety leadership, Safety culture, ISO 9001,ISO 14001,ISO 45001,EHS Legal requirements, Emergency Management Process safety management, Behaviour Based Safety Management etc.

Ir M Ramuseren has working experience in both Private and Government Sector for 29 years. He worked for contractor, consultant, PMC and currently attached to Construction Industry Development Board, a statutory body under the Ministry of Works, Malaysia. During his early career in construction industry, he has been actively involved in the project supervision, contract administration, engineering design and project management. Currently, he is the General Manager at CIDB Malaysia and active in the development of National Standards especially on construction safety and health. He was the Chairman of the National Technical Committee for the development of Construction Safety and Health Assessment System or better known as SHASSIC in Malaysia, a tool to measure safety and health performance of a project.

He worked with many organizations like German International Corporation -ASEAN ports, Northport Malaysia, Malaysia International Shipping Corporation, Atrax - Independent Reefer Service, New Zealand and registered Safety Officer with Department of Occupational Safety Health Malaysia. Active Member of Royal Charter Institute of Logistics And Transport (UK), Malaysian Occupational Safety Practitioners & Malaysian Institute Human Resource Management. He has done his Master’s in HR from Australia and Bachelor in Commerce Logistics from New Zealand.
